A partial lunar eclipse has been stunning viewers worldwide.
On Sunday, millions tuned in to see the moon’s silhouette appear darkened behind the sun.
The January Total Eclipse of the Moon provided a spectacular finish to another wet and stormy British winter – just in time for spring.
US space agency NASA has described the light emitted by the moon during eclipse as a “natural glowing potato”.
